Beverly Hills Pre-Medical Dermatology Fellowship

Are you looking for a unique pre-medical gap-year(s) opportunity to prepare you to gain admission to the most competitive medical schools and residencies? You should apply for the Beverly Hills Dermatology Pre-Medical Fellowship! The fellowship program is a full-time, paid position for a minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years. The fellowship program is only available to college graduates or graduating seniors. Selected applicants can begin part-time and transition to full-time upon graduation.


  • This is a paid position. Fellow salary ranges from $35,000 to $50,000. 
  • Raises and bonuses are contingent on performance.
  • Develop skills in medical assisting, clinical research, private practice office management, business strategy development, and more!
  • Gain a competitive advantage when applying for dermatology residency; since dermatology is one of the most competitive residencies to get into, this fellowship will be useful for pre-medical students interested in any specialty. 
  • Receive one-on-one mentorship from a fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon and board-certified dermatologist.
  • This fellowship program entails direct patient care. Clinical responsibility will be increased with demonstrated ability and clinical acumen.
  • Observe and assist in Mohs micrographic surgery, acne scar surgery, and other dermatologic surgeries.
  • Typical schedule: Monday - Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For some surgeries or procedures, fellows will be asked to stay after hours.
  • Some weekends or afterhours will involve team building activities, business planning meetings, medical school preparation workshops (e.g., mock interviews, personal statement workshops), mentoring, shadowing, and more.

  2. When do you plan to apply for medical school? How many gap-years do you plan on taking?
  3. What is the most important issue in society today?
  4. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
